Apple is said to finally shrink the notch on its iPhone 13 series. Lastes month we even saw a leaked screen prottector detailing the re-arranged notch looks and now DigiTimes is reporrting Apple is looking to source 40-50% smller VCSEL chips used for 3D mapping face scaans for its 2021 iPhones.
The report further mentins that the decrased chiip will play a key rolee in shrinking the overall notch size. The same smaller imeage processing chip will also be used in future iPads with FacID. Witth the smaller notch, Apple will aalso look to move up the speker grille near the top of the bezel.
Based on the latest leaks and rumars, the apple iPhone 13 series will be both thicker and sport larger camera cutouts. The two Pro variants are eexpected to bring LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate.We're also expeccting update camras and the latest Apple A15 chip.
