The company is offering this facility in many more phones including its Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro, Redmi Note 4, Redmi Y2, Redmi 6, Redmi 6A and Mi Mix 2S. With the Second Space feature, two profiles can be created in the same smartphone. In this profile you can block access to your personal apps and Google Play Store etc. The second space feature is also called dual device mode in Xiaomi smartphones.
If you have any confusion about the fact that Dual Device Mode and Dual Apps are one and the same. So you are wrong, these two features are different. Actually in dual device mode, you can create two separate spaces in the same phone where you can keep apps etc. At the same time, in dual app mode, two WhatsApp, two Facebook etc. can be installed in the same profile. Create second space like this
First of all go to the settings of your Xiaomi Redmi phone. Here tap on System end device. Many options will appear here, now tap on the second space. Second Space account will be setup automatically. Now tap on Set.
Now tap on Set Second Space Password .
When you have set your password, tap Next.
Now here you will get the option to import data like photos, files and videos from other profiles. If you don't want to import, tap skip.
After this the option will come to import apps from first space to second space. When you click OK, your second space will be ready. When your second space is ready, use this app
Can be used from drawer or notification panel with the help of password or fingerprint scanner.
